SotM (State Of The Map) Africa provides scholarships to facilitate accessibility and enable attendance and representation from many African countries at the State of the Map Africa Conference in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania which will be held on 28th – 30th November 2025.

The size and number of scholarship prizes you receive may be adjusted depending on the amount raised by our fundraising committee and will be very competitive. It is recommended that applicants apply for the smallest prize that will allow them to attend SotM 2025.

Also There will be 2 different scholarship prizes which will include:

• Partial – Covers either conference registration or accommodation or both.
• Full scholarship – Covers all conference costs (Transport, Accommodation, Conference Registration, meal stipend).
